Listen to the rhythm of the pouring rain

Well, it was a wet drive through lots of flooding puddles but we got some more embossing folders. My daughter-in-law-to-be busily churned out loads of embossing ready for card-making and using in her Primary school class.

There are new Christmas Cuttlebug folders: Jane's Silhoupage Japanese flowers and Cuttlebug border
  • If you use the Winter House one on black card, rub the card with distressing paper (emery) and it creates white on the raised parts to look like snow. Similarly, by rubbing on the floral border. For example, Silhoupage Japanese flowers coloured with Twinkling H2Os and Cuttlebug border:
  • There is also special two-coloured card that raises itself to the inside colour after embossing.
  • Rubbing the inside of the embossing folder with a stamp pad gives a nice effect as the white card raises above the ink colour. Clean the folder with baby wipes.
  • Peace Love Cheer is beautiful on metallic golden card.
  • Diecut the Bauble and emboss For You then place it with foam pads on top of a Christmas folder background.

Well, as you can see, Christmas is in our thoughts, so it might get another mention soon! LOL
