Some Information

Posted by CraftyWhippet
Hi Everyone,
It has been a busy time over the last month or so but now things are calming down a bit. I would like to share with you some of the situations that have occurred over the bad weather .

QVC
I sent an order for myself and a friend and decided a few hours later to cancel it due to misunderstanding the postage arrangements. I would like to remind you in case you are unaware that you are charged postage for each item. Sometimes the second item is half price postage. After refusing delivery and lengthy back and forward e mails/phone calls, QVC refunded the goods purchased. This took quite a while due to the snowy weather in November. As a gesture of goodwill my postage was also refunded . Thank you QVC.

Samuel Taylor.
I arranged with the company that when the new Go Kreate dies were back in stock they would send them out to me. Over Christmas, New Year, plus my holiday I was then aware that I had not received them . Knowing that mail had gone missing I contacted them to enquire if it had been dispatched. Yes it had. Royal Mail must have had a number of complaints !! Samuel Taylor were very helpful. Not only were the new dies in stock they were also reduced. They were dispatched that day and arrived two days later . I would recommend this craft company for efficiency politeness and just downright good service. They can also be found at the craft exhibition in Glasgow at the SECC. I do not have the web address but if you phone 01132 480044 I am sure they will be happy to pass it on.

Craftsuprint
This is an online site where for a small amount you can legally download some really varied craft sheets. Minimum order is £5.00 with the average sheet 80p
In error I ordered the same sheets twice at check out and naturally was charged accordingly. Customer support on this web site is excellent. Using a ticket system they keep you up to date until the problem is resolved. I contacted them last night and 5 support e mails later I was able to download my sheets before the night was over. It is a fascinating site with loads to select from so have a look for craftsuprint on the link on right hand sidebar. Thanks to the support team who have helped me twice in my senior moments.

Complete Cardmaking.
I subscribed to this magazine immediately after Christmas as it was a pressie . I waited for ages knowing that Royal Mail had a lot to catch up on. I e mailed the company and today got a reply saying they were so sorry I had not received it and they would send out another one. I am really looking forward to it as it has a free CD . Thank you to Practical Publishing.

Just to finish ...

I made an card with Italian words for a friends Mothers 80th birthday. It did not arrive in Italy. I made another similar card and I heard today that the first one has finally arrived after a months delay with the second one arriving two days later. One very happy Mamma !!!!

I hope this has been helpful. Perhaps now that all has calmed down we might actually manage time to do a video. However, in the meantime if you feel like recommending a company you have used and are pleased/not pleased with just let us know.

Happy Crafting

I can confirm your comment about Practical Publishing; I emailed them about the lack of cling in a freebie stamp set and they sent me not one but two replacements! Hope you had a good holiday Ruth and glad to see you back! Hazel x

I have companies I really like but they are in the US. I'm glad you finally got everything straightened out and are dealing with some good companies now. :)

And nice to see you posting!
