Well, yesterday we prepared and filmed for YouTube – a Scottish Tartan Card theme will be running between now and Christmas, which we hope you will enjoy. Our first offering is Christmas Ribbon Trees – the idea of weaving the ribbon or paper between the punched trees coming from Ann - you will also need a 2” deep strip of lightweight card for the punching, plus mirror or holographic backing card. I had prepared a black and silver tartan card as our sample and Ruth liked it so much she has reserved it as her chosen card from me at Christmas – that’s one down, how many to go?
In the previous blog post from CraftyWhippet, she mentioned that she had a wee prezzie for me – I was given it (so I must have behaved myself!) during the making of a humorous video testing her memory – and will not reveal what it is until you see it on YouTube: CraftyAlice has a Surprise for CraftyWhippet.
Three of us met for a wee footer with Christmas cards. Some glitter wrapping paper was cut up to make a simple topper Christmas card; printed-out waterfall pieces were made up and glittered with Stickles; and a trifold insert was the inspiration to make up the actual pyramage:
Since it’s nice to share ideas among crafters, I’ve been uploading some of my Christmas cards to the Fiskateers Gallery, among others. CraftyWhippet is now a proud Fiskateer and hopes to get time to participate between actually making cards!

The tree punch with ribbon is such a cute idea and makes very pretty cards. Love your video--and the singing--hehe! :):)
