My Joanna Sheen’s Thomas Kinkade CD-ROMs display the Painter of Light’s wonderful images. He writes: It really is possible to colour a dark canvas golden, even with the tiniest of brushes. You just keep on dabbing the paint, and sooner or later you transform the surface with brightness. In the same way, if you keep making joy choices, small and large, your heart will eventually display a joyful tint that is more durable than you ever imagined. The Christmas images are top of our list just now!
This one is decoupaged and glittered.
Ooh, I’ve got three new Martha Stewart punches – I had filled a loyalty card at CraftWorld and had only to add a little more – women’s logic again I think, Ruth – to get a punch around the page set of king’s crown corner with border punches and a trinity candles punch. I used the set for my craft project.
These baubles I made are brought out every Christmas. They are based on polystyrene balls and eggs for the fir cones, with tiny pins to hold either folded material squares into triangles or sequins. It is very satisfying to do, a bit like cross-stitch! My favourite was made with blue and green sequins to form the world – when I unearth the Christmas baubles, I’ll photograph it for the blog.
Meanwhile, I must get back to making my Christmas octagon cards, can’t be sitting here chatting when there’s work to do…

Oh my! Such a fancy card--very pretty! And the ornaments look like they took a lot of time. Very nice! Yup! Christmas is coming fast for us crafters--hehe! ;) Have fun! Love seeing what you're making.
Thanks, Rita - the baubles can be done whilst half-watching TV!
great cards!
