At the group craft evening, Ruth showed us her new technique of frame-cutting, using the Eaziscore board and scalpel: all will be revealed in the YouTube video.
Once she had us all safely started on the project, she then proceeded to help Ann organise some much-needed forthcoming cards, which you can see here. Don't Cuttlebug embossing folders lend themselves beautifully to being backgrounds for the frames?
Jeanette and I had an almost-finished card each, only needing a suitable centre placed on the background. All very satisfactory and no drinks were spilled by anyone.

Did you use paper or a foil of some kind with the embossing folders for the backgrounds in the frames? They look metallic or shimmery. Just curious.
It's a special vellum-like paper from the Paper Mill. You can get it from their shops or direct online. That's where we buy our hammer embossed card as well.
